The Nike Dunk High - Collection Royale Dontrelle is one of the products in the extensive 'high' Nikes family. Its numerous siblings in this ever growing family include the likes of Nike Dunk Hi Premium X Atmos Project, the Nike Custom High Oreos Paris, the Nike-Dunk Hi SB Glow in the Night 2, the Nike Dunk High Barricade Transformers Customs, the Nike High Del Sol Team Green and the dark Nike Dunk Hi Premium FC St. Pauli. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to own and wear many various Nike-Dunks. But I have to confess that of all these, it is Nike High - Collection Royale Dontrelle that I have gotten most enchanted with.
Dunk high glow in the dark shoes is just one of the offerings that make up the Nike glow in the dark world. This pair of special basketball shoes has a glow in the dark material that glows a bright green in the shadows. Nike Dunk High Premium Glow in the Dark Edition shoes comes in white and classic green, white, and radiant green and there are more than 65 different color variations as well as styles.
This shoe slowly morphed over the years and gradually became one of the most popular of all skateboarding shoes that that world-renowned brand has to offer to consumers everywhere. What this skateboarding shoe also contains to show off its link to skateboarding is no other than "SB" which was added exactly for this purpose.
The Nike Dunk High Pro SB is one of the new products in the Nike Dunk product line, alongside the likes of the Nike Dunk High Premium SB Mork and Mindy, the Nike Dunk High Barricade Transformers and the Nike Dunk High Premiums, which are truly giving the Nike Classics a run for their money quite literally. After having the opportunity to use the Nike Dunk High Pro SB, and having gotten thoroughly enchanted with it, it is not hard for me to see why this shoe is proving to be such a major hit.
One of the most attractive features of the Nike Dunk High Pro SB, one has to admit, is Nike's choice of color schemes for the shoes. The colors schemes in question here, as it turns out, are colors that are designed to be simply hard to ignore for 'spectators' seeing one wearing the Dunks out there. My pair, for instance, is based on the black yellow color scheme, the tone of black employed here being the 'real' absolute black tone, and the yellow being the 'darkest' tone of it, to make for a conspicuous combination indeed. Towards the bottom of the shoe, where the upper region of the shoe borders with the shoe's sole, Nike Dunk High Pro SB comes with a brief white section - which is in fact a region of white paint on what otherwise appears to be the shoe's basically black sole. It would seem that Nike chooses to employ white at this point to create the 'contrast effect' which is otherwise not so apparent in the black-yellow color scheme employed all over the rest of the shoe.
The word 'high' in the shoes name (High Pro SB) is not placed in the phrase just for the sake of it. This is a shoe that is high in the truest sense of the word, the kind of shoe which makes the wearer seem a bit taller than you really are, due to the visual effect! Talking of visual effects, the upwards diagonal line-schemes Nike employs in the Dunk High Pro SB, where the Nike 'tick' is elongated to form a diagonal cross with another black line running from the lowest to the highest point of the shoe only add to accentuate the shoe's perceived tallness.
Talking of tallness, it is notable that perhaps in a bid to ensure wearer's comfort, Nike opts to make the Dunk High Pro SB frontally tall, so that the shoe rises from an ordinary height at the point where the toes go in to be highest towards the central region, before arching inwards a bit towards the ankle so that at the back of it, the Nike Dunk High Pro SB is not as tall as at the end of the front section. This way, the shoe appears 'conspicuously high' without unnecessarily affecting the wearer's comfort.
As mentioned, in my Yellow-black Nike Pro SB, Nike chooses to use black for their signature Nike Tick. It is notable that, as with many other new Nike products, the Nike tick in the Nike Pro SB is actually elongated, all the way to the back of the shoe; and then all the way to the 'inner' side of the shoe, so that whatever side you happen to be viewing it from, it is clearly a Nike product.
